EWL Engineering Services and Methods Explained
CNC Milling
Variety of components can be produced from either a drawing or sample on an Hurco or Bridgeport machining centre out of various materials such as brass, stainless, copper, aluminium, steel and plastic.
CNC Turning
Variety of components can be produced from either a drawing or sample on an Emco lathe out of various materials such as brass, stainless, copper, aluminium, steel and plastic.
Manual Turning & Milling
We are able to produce new or modified components extremely quickly, which is often essential for the rapid development and test of new components. Parts produced from either a drawing or sample on conventional machines produced by hand with no computers involved on various materials.
Broaching
broaching is a machining process that uses a toothed tool, called a broach, to remove material. There are two main types of broaching
Gear Cutting
gear cutting is a machining process for creating a gear
Key Way Cutting
Keyways are grooves of different shapes cut along the axis of the cylindrical surface of shafts, into which keys are fitted to provide a positive method of locating and driving members on the shafts.
Press Work up to 80 tonne
Presswork is a type of metal work, where sheet metal is shaped into various forms, using specifically designed machine. The machine punches the sheet of metal, using tremendous force. This is done by placing a specific tool in the upper part of the press. When this then hits the metal, the desired shape is created. Any shape can be made, as well as creating different designs on the top and the bottom part of the sheet of metal.
